The Flint Farmers' Market, under the management of Uptown Reinvestment Corporation since 2002, is recognized as one of the finest public markets in Southeast Michigan. Open all year, the market features three bakeries, specialized produce dealers and growers, specialty meats and poultry, cheese from around the world, a restaurant, an art gallery, Michigan's only farmers' market wine shop, and many other unique vendors. Located on the banks of a beautiful stretch of the Flint River, the market may be reached off I-475, exit 8A (Flint's 'Destination' exit).
