The German Pink tomato is a Bavarian variety that is currently grown in Festina, Iowa. The plants produce large 1-2 pound meaty fruits with few seeds. The German Pink has a full sweet flavor, even floral, and a tender skin. The tomato is an extremely versatile fruit, as it is excellent for canning and freezing but also slicing and juicing.
Dunwoody Spruill Green Market is a 5th year Producer only Market that is open May - November . Our hours are Wednesdays from 8am-12:00 Noon. A Producer Only Market means that only vendors who make or grow what they sell can participate. Most of our produce vendors grow with Organic Methods and are Certified Naturally Grown.

We run this small operation ourselves and raise Boer goats for meat and show, chickens, vegetables and fruits as naturally as possible. We love the variety of heirloom seeds that are available from all over the world. This year we have over 15 varieties of melons, more than 18 varieties of heirloom tomatoes along with 5 varieties of potatoes and 6 kinds of onions. We love variety! Neighbors have been buying our produce, meat and eggs since we moved to this location.

We are a new farm located on 5 acres in Rainier, Oregon. We grow kids, animals, vegetables, fruit and whatever else that will hold still long enough to get planted. The farm may be new, but we are experienced growers. We are excited to be creating a diversified family farm. Our focus is on raising nourishing fare from healthy soils. Food meant to be enjoyed simply. As a small start- up farm, we are not currently seeking certification.

As a new local food option, Ariel's Sustainably Grown will offer a 2009 Winter CSA with several M-W-F delivery / pick-up options in Portland and Beaverton, and home delivery in La Center, WA. We begin week of November 16 and continue for 24 weeks. Our first two harvest / delivery contents will include an ample quantity of gourmet potatoes, fresh herbs, and greens for your Thanksgiving feast.
